UE Warriors Roi Sumang made a heroic moves during the final seconds of their thrilling win against the UST Growling Tigers for a comeback win ending the game with 68-67 victory in the UAAP Season 76.
The Roi “Super” Sumang led the Red Warriors with a big fourth-quarter comeback against the UST. He scored or (–foul word(s) removed–)issted in 16 of his team’s 21 fourth-quarter points and hit the game-winning basket with just 11 seconds remaining as UE overturned an 11-point deficit and came away with a hard-earned victory.
The Red Warriors win over UST put the Red Warriors ahead to a 5-3 win-loss card while the UST Growling Tigers dropped to 4-4 win-loss record in the UAAP Men’s Basketball Tournament.
