Carly Rae Jepsen, the singer behind the song, “Call Me, Maybe” arrives in Manila on Tuesday, August 6 for her one-night concert at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday, August 7, 2013.

The 27-year-old Canadian pop superstar arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport via a Delta Air Line flight at around 10:40 PM on Monday.
Carly Rae Jepsen stated earlier through an interview with ABS-CBN, that she intends to expand her Filipino connection and is also open to collaborating with Filipino artists. Jepsen also admitted during an interview that she has a former Filipino boyfriend.
The Canadian artist who became popular after she was discovered in a reality show visited the Philippines for the very first time and she was so excited for her concert in the country.
According to Carly when she was asked about what her Filipino fans could expect from her concert in Manila, Jepsen said: “Well it’s going to be a party, like a retro-pop party. We’ve got lights, we will encourage every one to sing along and dance. It’s going to be a lot of fun!” Jepsen stated.
