Iran Defeated India 102-58 Still Undefeated in FIBA Asia 2nd Round (Highlights Video)

Two-time FIBA Asia champion Iran continued its winning streak, this time defeating the lowly Indian national basketball team with 102-58 victory as the team open its second round campaign on Monday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Iran’s outside gunner Hamed Afagh topscored for his team with a 16 points on four three-pointers while Iranian superstars Samad Nikkhah Bahrami and Hamed Haddadi posted 15 and 12 points respectively.

Powerhouse Iran once again proved that they are the team to beat in FIBA Asia Championship by scoring their fourth straight double-digit victory after they won over Malaysia, South Korea, and China.

Meanwhile the Indian national basketball team was topscored by Vishesh Bhriguvanshi who scored with 15 points on their losing cause. Iran will continue its dominance in FIBA Asia as it battle against Bahrain while India will face the depending champion China on Tuesday.
