The Filipino delegates who win during the recently concluded Worcd Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Hollywood already arrived in the Philippines on Wednesday morning.
The Pinoy winners were composed of Jed Madela, the first Filipino to be inducted into the Hall of Fame of WCOPA, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport following their victorious conquest of the world renowned competition.
The Philippine Team to WCOPA grabbed some major awards which includes the Senior Grand Champion Performer of the World won by Aldeza dela Torre, and the Grand Champion Performer of the World won by Beverly Caimen. For the very first time, Pinoys clinched the top two awards in the competition.
Other winners include the Gollayan sisters, who won the World Champion for Vocal Group; Reynaldo Gorospe as the Male Model of the World; and “Goin Bulilit” star Chacha Cañete, who went home with two silver medals.
