The Ateneo Blue Eagles made their second comeback win against the UP Fighting Maroons at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday July 21 ending the game with the final score at 72-64.
Former injured player Kiefer Ravena showed once and for all that he is now on fire by scoring his season-high 15 points and secured their second win despite the heroics made by UP’s Sam Marata who scored 22 points for the Maroons.
The victory against the Fighting Maroons is the second victory of the 5-time depending champion who struggled at the start of the UAAP Season 76. The team was able to recovered from their earlier lost against the UE Red Warriors last Wednesday.
The Fighting Maroons on their part remained winless in the competition and continued to be buried at the bottom of the team standing. The Ateneo Blue Eagles is currently ranked 7th in team standing with 2-4 win-loss record.
