Laguna is the considered as one of the most progressive province in the CALABARZON Region. The Province also ranked as one of the top provinces with the highest number of registered number of voters.
According to the record of the COMELEC, Laguna has an estimated 1.44 million registered voters. The current gubernatorial race is between UNA bet and incumbent Governor ER Ejercito going up against Team PNoy bet Edgar San Luis.
