Former “Princess and I” actor Enrique Gil will be paired with a showbiz newbie Liza Soberano in an upcoming teleserye for the Kapamilya Channel. The taping of the said teleserye will start next month.
Liza Soberano is one of the newest actress introduced by ABS-CBN through their talent arm the Star Magic Circle 2013. The 15-year-old mestiza became part of the afternoon series “Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo,” as the younger sister of Jake Cuenca.
The actress was formerly billed as Hope Soberano, recently the actress was introduced on her first big screen appearance in the movie featuring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla titled, “Must Be Love.”
Liza Soberano portrays the role of a third party in the Kathryn and Daniel Padilla love team. Enrique was also featured in the movie which caught the attention of moviegoers that they have chemistry with each other although, Gil just made a cameo appearance.
Enrique Gil also confirmed and narrated the incident that made Liza Soberano cry during his cameo role appearance. On his part as an actor, Enrique is set to be featured in two teleseryes this year and will do another big screen project within the year.
