DOLE-SPES 2013 Summer Jobs How to Apply

The Department of Labor and Employment-Special Program for the Employment of Students for Summer 2013 is now open for application for both students and out-of-school youth.

The programs are open to all High School students in the Philippines, College or Vocational Students, and even dropouts and out-of-school youth.

Who are eligible to apply for DOLES-SPES 2013 Summer Jobs?

Here’s the qualifications:

  1. Must be 15-25 years old.
  2. For students, he or she must be enrolled during the present school year/term or during the school year/term immediately preceding the summer vacation.
  3. For high school and college dropouts, he or she must intend to continue his or her education.
  4. His or her parents’ combined net income after tax, including his or her own, if any, does not exceed P36,000 per annum or does not exceed the latest annual regional poverty threshold level for a family of six as determined by the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).
  5. He or she must have garnered a p(–foul word(s) removed–)ing grade during the school year/term referred above or in case of dropout, the last year/term attended
  6. His or her parents have been displaced or about to be displaced due to business closure or work stoppage provided he/she meets 1, 2 and 4 qualifications stated above.

Requirements in applying for DOLE-SPES 2013 summer jobs?

For Out-of-School Youth:

  1. Accomplished SPES application form
  2. Copy of NSO-certified birth certificate
  3. Latest Income Tax Return of the Parents / or a certification from the employer/union president that the parent of the applicant is to be displaced or have been displaced, or a Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) certification that parents are exempted from income tax payment.
  4. Certificate of good moral character issued by an authorized barangay official from place of residence.

For Students:

  1. All of the above requirements
  2. Certification by the school registrar bearing the date of last enrolment; and
  3. Copy of original cl(–foul word(s) removed–) card or Form 138.

Where to apply for the DOLE-SPES 2013 summer jobs?

  1. DOLE Regional/District/Provincial Office,
  2. Public Employment Service Offices (PESOs),or
  3. other deputized entities.

  10. pwede po ba mag apply online wla pong trabaho ang mama ko at patay n ren po ang tatay ko.kaya wla po cla income umaasa lng kme s pdala ng ate ko pero d nmn stable ung padala nya im turning 2nd year college this coming june ..pls inform us po kung pwede.kelangan ko po tlga mag trabaho pra mkatulong s mama ko.thank u po

  13. Sana po tanggapin nyo ako kailangan na kailangan ko po kasi ng pera para makatulong man lang kahit kunti sa parents ko kahit pangbayad lang saentrance exam namin next enrollment. Sana po talagatanggapin niyo ako. Salamat po ulit.
