The Philippines ranked at the third spot in the Asian Football Federation or the Southeast Asian Region, only behind SEA leader Vietnam and Thailand. The Philippines ranked at the 145th spot worldwide, a two step higher compared to the February rankings at 147th.
The Philippine National Football Team, Philippine Azkals clearly way ahead former regional superpowers such as Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Powerhouse Vietnam still led the Southeast Asian Rankings at 127th spot overall followed by Thailand at 135th worldwide.
The Southeast Asian team Myanmar climbed seven spot and now ranks at 155th.
