Four long weekends awaits the Filipinos for the year 2013 based upon the proclamation released by the National Government signed by President Aquino, Proclamation No. 459.
The National government have announced the official dates of Holidays for 2013, covering at least 16 regular, special, and non-working holidays, leading to four long weekends in March, August, November and December.

The exact dates of the Islamic holidays of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha will be announced upon final determination based upon the slamic calendar (Hijra) or the lunar calendar or upon Islamic astronomical calculations.
