Smart Gilas Pilipinas bowed out of the Dubai Basketball tournament after they were defeated by Lebanese side Segasse with the finals score of 95-65 on Thursday night at the Al Ahli gym.
KG Canaleta looks impressive during the game as he knocked down three straight triples right after the start of the second half but it was not enough against the firepower of the Lebanese.
Smart Gilas veteran Marcus Douthit suffered from an injury and was forced to the bench early in the final period. Douthit was able to produce with 11 points only while Canaleta topscored for the Gilas with 32 big points.
The Philippines ended their journey at the Dubai tourney win only one win against Mouttahed and suffering three straight losses against Al Ahli, Sporting Aramex and Lebanese Segasse.
