According to the latest estimates by the organizers of the 2013 Sinulog Festival in Cebu City, they are expecting at an estimated 4 million revelers and devotees of the Senior Santo Niño.
There are at least 8,000 police officers, soldiers, reservists and cadets who will helf to secure the Sinulog grand parade during the entire festivities which will culminate on Sunday, January 20, 2013.
During last year’s celebration of the Sinulog Festival, a total of more than 3.5 Million people joined the various activities of the Sinulog.
Before the start of the month-long Sinulog 2013 celebrations, contingents from various provinces and nearby cities have already settled down on their respective billeting venues. They have also prepared and rehearsed their routines at the Cebu City Sports Center.
Some of the contigents came from Zamboanga Sibugay, Tangub City, and Placer contingent from Masbate, the biggest delegation to showcase their skills in the Sinulog 2013.
