The primer entertainment show in the Philippines “The Buzz” released their top 12 Newsmakers of the Year 2012. They revealed their “Big 12 of 2012,” a list featuring the biggest showbiz issues and personalities of the year.
According to a news report from ABS-CBN, a total of 100 local “showbiz experts” were tapped to come up with the list together with 20 staff members of “The Buzz”, 20 members of the entertainment press, 20 celebrities, 20 bloggers and 20 ordinary people.
Here’s the list of the “Big 12 of 2012”
- Breakthrough Love Team Of The Year – Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo
- The Unexpected Love Team – Richard Yap and Jodi Sta. Maria
- The Big Phenomenon – “Walang Hanggan” cast, particularly Dawn Zulueta, Richard Gomez, Coco Martin and Julia Montes
- Wedding of the Year – Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi
- The Greatest Love – Dolphy and Zsa Zsa Padilla
- Fearless Fighter – Andi Eigenmann
- The Shocking Clash – Claudine Barretto and Raymart Santiago versus the Tulfo brothers
- The Awaited Reunion – Angeline Quinto and her mother
- The Most Talked-About Love Story – Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson
