The official website of the Republic of the Philippines posted that the Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act of 2012 have been signed into Law.
The Republic Act No. 10354 more popularly known as the Reproductive Health Bill will take effect 15 days after its publication in at least two newspapers of general circulation.
The RH Bill have been approved and ratified by the bicameral committee by both houses of Congress. The Philippine President signed the law on December 21, 2012.
According to Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte stated that the Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act of 2012 is a highly divisive chapter in Philippine history.
