Tropical Storm Quinta have already landed in the Philippine area of responsibility. The international name of Quinta was Wukong, a Chinese name for monkey. PAG-ASA released their 5:00 PM updates, stating that typhoon Quinta has a maximum sustained wind of 75 kph and gustiness of up to 90 kph.

Storm signal No. 2: These areas may expect winds between 61 kph and 100 kph over the next 24 hours.
Visayas: Eastern Samar, Leyte, Southern Leyte
Mindanao: Dinagat Province, Siargao Island
Storm Signal No. 1: Areas may expect winds between 30 and 60 kph over the next 36 hours.
Visayas: Northern Samar, Western Samar, Biliran, Bohol and Cebu including Camotes Island.
Mindanao: Surigao Del Norte, Surigao Del Sur, Agusan Provinces, Misamis Oriental, and Camiguin.
Tropical storm Quinta brings heavy to intense rainfall (10-20 mm/hr) within its 350-km diameter and may stay in the country until Friday.
