The Philippines advanced to the semi-finals after defeating Myanmar with 2-nil after Phil Younghusband and Angel Guirado made two goals for the Azkals as the team made it to the semi-finals of the Suzuki Cup 2012.
Phil Younghusband scored the first goal of the game against Myanmar at around 46th minutes followed by a late goal by Angel Guirado during the injury time of the second half at around 93rd minutes.
The Azkals will moved on to the semi-finals of the tournament and proved once and for all that the Philippines is the team to beat in the Asian Football Federation.
This is also the first time that the Philippines defeated Myanmar since the day they played with Myanmar.
