Meysi: World’s Smallest Pet Dog to Conquer Guinness (Video)

The world’s smallest pet dog could possibly get the Guinness World Record as the smallest living dog in the world. The owner of the dog, Anna Pohl of Jarochin, Poland is now hoping, the dog can enter the Guinness World Records.

The tiny pet dog was named as Meysi, a tiny Terrier puppy was featured on October 15, 2012 in one of the most popular news site in Poland, the Jarocinska.pl.

According to the site, the tiny dog was born three months ago, and she weighted only with just 45 grams (around 0.1 lbs.) and about 2 inches long.

Anna Pohl, the owner of the dog stated during an interview that Meysi was three times smaller compare to her sister.

The dog, Meysi was already featured in different news website in the world, including the New York Daily News, CEN News and many other international website.

The Guinness World Records will recognizes dogs that are at least one year old, although they have no record for the world’s smallest puppy. The only records of GWR is the world’s smallest dog today in terms of length is Heaven Sent Brandy from Florida, USA.
