Philippine Azkals Won vs. Chinese Taipei Score 3-1 Highlights Video

The Philippine Azkals have lived to expectations and finally won their first ever international title for nearly one hundred years in competing internationally. The Filipino-German Denis Wolf opened the scoring early in the game at around 12th minutes in the first half.

The second goal came from the team skipper Chieffy Caligdong who made his 25th international goal in FIFA-sanctioned game. The third goal came from OJ Porteria from a long p(–foul word(s) removed–) error of the Chinese Taipei team and went straight to the goalkeeper.

Although the Chinese Taipei Team was able to score during the second half at around 51st minutes but they failed to control the tempo of the game as they don’t have time anymore to retaliate.

Eduard Sacapano made an amazing save at the few minutes before the end of the game as he controlled the goal and made an excellent defense from a free kick.

The Philippines was declared as the Champion of the Philippine Football Peace Cup 2012 for a total of 99 years, the Philippines is back in the limelight of the Asian Football. Chinese Taipei was runner-up while Guam received the second runner-up award.
