Pacquiao Camp Confirmed Marquez as the Next Opponent for December 1 Fight

The long wait is over, Manny Pacquiao confirmed that he will be facing his toughest foe, Juan Manuel Marquez for the fourthe time on December 8, 2012 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The People’s Champ have already broken his silence after a much-hyped speculations of his next opponent. According to Pacquiao’s adviser Mike Koncz, who was quoted as saying that “It’s Marquez,” referring to the next opponent of the world’s famous Filipino fighter.

The deal have been finalized already yesterday in Las Vegas after a meeting with Top Rank Chief Bob Arum.

Although the official announcement will be made this coming Tuesday at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles but Koncz already revealed the news to the media.

The announcement will be made together with Bob Arum, Manny Pacquiao and Manuel Marquez who will attend the event. After their anticipated announcement, both fighters will be making a tour to Mexico City and New York City.

The camp of Manny Pacquiao finally admitted and finalized the match-up against Manuel Marquez after they were given three choices which includes, Cotto, Bradley and Marquez.

Manny Pacquiao which is already considered as a former Hall of Famer, chose the Mexican fighter because he wanted to put a closure to their celebrated rivalry that began in 2004.

Pacquiao’s possible opponent Miguel Cotto have also chosen to face Austin Tout in December 1, in New York.
