One of the most incredible technology milestone of the year is the Mind Control Quadrotor that was created by researchers from China’s Zhejian Universtiy.
The flying machine can be control by the power of the mind, it was named as Flying Buddy 2, it doesn’t run on fuel but on brainwaves.
The Flying Buddy 2 uses an EEG headseat to interpret your thoughts, so when you think “left or right,” the robot will follow. Brain signals are relayed to the robot via a bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
The Mind Control Quadrotor will be presented in the upcoming Ubicomp 2012, Pervasive Computing Group at CCNT Lab, Zhejiang University in China.
The 14th International Conference on Ubiqutous Computing (Ubicomp 2012) will be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. It is the premier outlet for novel research contributions that advance the state of the art in the design, development, deployment, evaluation and understanding of ubiquitous computing systems.
