The upcoming British movie “Les Miserables” was based on the original stage musical film with the same title. The movie was directed by Academy Award winning director Tom Hopper.
Les Miserables’ settings was against the backdrop of 19th century in Paris, France. A story of broken dreams and unrequited love, p(–foul word(s) removed–)ion,sacrifice and redemption- a timeless testament to the survival of human spirit.
Hugh Jackman plays ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, who hunted for decades by the ruthless Inspector Javert (Russell Crowe) after he breaks parole. When Jean Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s (Anne Hathaway) young daughter, Cosette(Amanda Seyfried) their lives change forever.
The Les Miserables will be release on December 14, 2012.
