ASEAN One App Plans to Speak 11 Languages Developed in Thailand

Thailand developers developed an application which will help the (–foul word(s) removed–)ociation of Southeast Asian Nation in terms of language barriers. The app is called an ASEAN One App. Right now the app is on its first phase. It will translate a local language into 11 different ASEAN language which includes English.

Jirath Pavaravadhana, CEO of Ignite Asia Co. the developer was quoted as saying that “I travel a lot, and when I went to Malaysia and Vietnam it was difficult to get people to communicate in English, so I really could have used a tool like us.” he stated.

Due to his experience, together with Thailand developers they developed the applications to help ease the language barrier problems in Southeast Asia. The app started its development three months ago.

The company hired native speakers from each country in the ASEAN region to translate the language and incorporate it into one applications. Each international employees were given (–foul word(s) removed–)ignments in translating 10 topics covering areas such as logistics, lifestyles and business locations.

Each topics that was being developed by native language speakers coming from different regions in Southeast Asia comprises of 100 sentences for a total of 1,000 sentences.

The ASEAN One application will be available for free within the next two months on IOS, Android and Windows phones.
