The “Fireworks” superstar singer Katy Perry and her comedian husband Russel Brand have finalized their divorce on Tuesday.
Perry and Brand have been granted a divorce by the Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marc Marmaro on Wednesday. This was in relation when Brand’s filed a divorce almost six weeks ago and on Tuesday Perry had also filed a document stated that she and Brand had already settled everything regarding with their financial issues.
Thus, speaking of legal laws and aspects, Brand could be a wealthy man for he was entitled to earn 50% of his wife earnings during their marriage since reports says that the couple didn’t signed a prenuptial agreement after their marriage in October 2010. But according to TMZ, Katy could keep all the cash she made and Brand is not asking any of it.
According to the court their divorce will be fully finalized on July 14. However the reason of their breakup remains confidential to public. Katy Perry also demands to take back her maiden name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson.
