Popular South Korean group 2NE1 arrived in the Philippines today from Incheon, South Korea. The Korean K-Hop group touched down at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at around 11:27 AM via a Korean Air.
Park Bom used twitter to inform her fans in the Philippines that she is going to visit the country. She tweeted that “We are now going to the Philippines.” She posted also a picture of Sandara Park on the micro-blogging site.
The purpose of their visit is not known yet but there were some speculations that they are here to escaped the winter in Korea as of this time.
The all-female group made a significant following not only in Korea but in the rest of Asia as they popularized another version of the Korean songs which is called as K-Hop a budding movement backs up its slick pop sheen with true R&B talent.
The 2NE1 was even featured in Newsweek magazine as one of the emerging popularity of Korean Hip-Hop acts. The group popularized the song titled “Ugly.”
One of the most prominent and recognizable member of the group was Sandara Park, a former Star Circle Quest Finalist of ABS-CBN.
