YouTube star and singing sensation AJ Rafael was so amazed and grateful after he was able to performed with his idol Gary Valenciano during the ASAP Live performance last Sunday.
The 22-year-old YouTube singing sensation stated that he is always and avid fan of “Mr. Pure Energy” Gary Valenciano. His performance with his idol is a dream came true for him.
He was even quoted as saying that “I still can’t believe it. The whole day, I was literally thinking I’m gonna be mad if I wake up right now cause it’s a dream” AJ Rafael stated.
The Filipino-Canadian singing sensation adds further that “I’ve been listening to Gary V. for a long, long time. My parents made me grow up listening to it, so to even have the opportunity to sing with him, to perform with him was amazing” said Rafael.
AJ Rafael became sensational when his YouTube video goes viral first on MySpace and then on YouTube which make him an instant hit on the internet. He started with the advocacy of helping his who is suffering from autism. He dedicated a benefit concert as part of his autism awareness campaign.
The YouTube sensation is now in the Philippines for a series of shows and as a part of part of the Asian leg of their 2012 tour. He will perform at the Music Museum this coming January 18, 2012.
