We all have dreams-things that our heart desires that can make up our lives completely satisfying. But there are times that those dreams are too high to reach, yet we do things that can put them into reality.

So tell me, what do you want to be? Me? Well, I always wanted to be a lawyer, but as I ended up as a teacher of those ‘exceptional’ ones, I came to a point that being a lawyer needs to fit themselves to the people they serve, and that means I need to do one certain thing- to tell the best story which means I need to lie!

I am not against law, but let’s admit it. Justice isn’t just!

So, whatever may be your dream, go into it! And if you want to be like Neil Armstrong, who first set on the moon, why don’t you apply as an astronaut for NASA?

Yes! NASA is actually looking for a few men or women who would like to join their team of outer space explorers and must be willing to relocate to the International Space Station.

“The experience is well worth the wait,” Nasa flight crew operations director Janet Kavandi promised as the space agency started a public search for new astronauts.

In about three to five years, Nasa hopes to pay for trips for astronauts headed to the space station on American-built commercial rockets instead. And eventually, Nasa hopes to fly astronauts in a government-owned Orion capsule to an asteroid or even Mars, but those pioneering trips are more than a decade away.

NASA needs about 55 astronauts, and with a new cl(–foul word(s) removed–) of nine already graduated this month, the astronaut roster is up to 58. One of those new astronauts will get to fly to the space station as early as 2013, Ms Kavandi said. The job pays between $64,700 and $141,700 a year.

Interesting, isn’t it? So, what is the qualifications?

Of course, you must have a bachelor’s degree – most astronauts have a master’s or a doctorate – in engineering, biological science, physical science or math. You must know basic physics. Being a medical doctor or a teacher helps. You must have vision that can be corrected to 20/20, no high blood pressure and be between 5 feet 2 inches (1.5 meters) and 6 feet 3 inches (1.8 meters), and you must learn Russian, but be a US citizen.

Qualified? NASA “needs you to help plan for this future of exploration.”

“Join Nasa. Get your application in now for the 2013 astronaut candidate cl(–foul word(s) removed–). Your spaceflight experience begins right now.” NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said.

“We’re ready to serve; we’re ready to get going,” new astronaut Serena Aunon commented.

So what are you waiting for? Go polish up your resume and get into the space! Fly NASA where the sky is not the limit!
