The 26-year-old actress Camille Prats finally faced the media after her husband Anthony Linsangan p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed away at the age of 31 last Friday.
Linsangan battled against nasopharyngeal cancer since last year. At first, Camille thought that the lump on her husband’s jaw was a mere viral infection. But it was later on discovered that Linsangan’s nasopharyngeal cancer was already in Stage 4.
Prats told the media that it wasn’t easy for her to accept the fact that her husband is gone knowing that he was only in his 30s. Her husband went on several treatments and she saw how hard it was for him to undergo chemotherapy during those moments. Camille even said that parts of her husband’s neck were burnt due to the radiation and there was even a time when he wanted to give up the treatment.
While her husband was fighting to finish the series of his treatments, Camille was there showing no sign of weakness. Camille didn’t want him to see her crying so she strived not to shed a tear in front of him as much as possible. Her being brave made her husband stronger.
Despite being sick, Linsangan was very supportive with regards to his wife’s showbiz career back then. While in the hospital, he would ask for a flat screen to watch and support the actress. He made it to record all the episodes of Camille’s project entitled Munting Heredera to make sure he will not miss any of them.
Camille Prats as a young widow mourns of losing her husband yet she still manage to hold her strong faith in God. Though she was sad about it, she tries to accept and understand about God’s own reason.
On the other hand, Anthony Linsangan’s funeral will take place in Dasmarinas, Cavite on Tuesday.
