There is always time for everything and the time had finally came that one of the world’s greatest and well-respected business magnate, in the person of Steve Jobs, Apple Co-Founder to took a step lower as he resigned from his office being the Apple’s Chief Executive.
In a letter that he had sent to Apple’s Board which was published also via Business Wire, he mentioned that as what he had been saying, if the time would come that he could no longer perform his duties as Apple’s CEO, he would be the first to let his colleagues to know.
His decision came after the health conditions that he had been going through over the years. In fact, since January 17, he had been on-leave and his position was temporarily handled by Tim Cook, the COO.
Aside from expressing his intention from resigning from his office, Steve Jobs, in his letter also mentioned the name of the person whom he wanted to take his position and it was Tim Cook who had been acting as Chief Executive after his leave.
Jobs believed that more success for Apple is waiting ahead. And with Cook, he is confident that whatever they had started will continue to prosper.
Jobs, 55, had undergone liver transplant after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Moreover, from his letter, he had written that it is still his vision to be able to work with Apple to what the board will agree, whether as Chairman of the Board, director and even as Apple employee.
Members of the world’s most successful and one of the biggest company when it comes to computing- Apple Inc., were really looking up to Jobs.
Apple inc., just like any business no matter how successful it is at present had been into a stage of almost losing the game and Apple Inc. had its own dark era.
However, as quoted from Art Levinson, member of Apple’s Board, he said that Steve Jobs saved Apple. Further, he mentioned that with Jobs vision and leadership, the company was brought to its current position in the business world.
