Xenith created by Stanford is the Fastest Solar Car

Xenith
Xenith is known to be the fastest solar car.

Technology never seems to stop finding its way to move in this modern state. While there are inventions created to comfort each in every user, there are those which come better than the other as it pleases not just its beneficiary but it comes friendly to the natural environment as well.

Let’s take this latest solar-powered car created by Stanford calling it as Xenith. For about two years, the Stanford Solar Car Project was noted to be working to achieve their desired solar car feature. For the Stanford team, Xenith comes to be the fastest car operated by a solar power.

On this year’s October 16 to 23, a race for solar vehicles will be held. With that, the World Solar Challenge urges the creators of Xenith to join the race suggesting that they have to build a solar-powered car that can run the fastest in a distance of 3,000 km. The race will have to start from Darwin to Adelaide and there are several rules to apply for each category.

Xenith takes a more powerful step to define technology. The good thing is that, sunlight is its major power source. Its environment-friendly feature will give no harm to the environment.

According to cnet.com, the saved power inside the ultra-compact lithium battery of Xenith can run a car with a distance of 200 miles even in the absence of sunlight.
