The cancellation of Kate Plus 8 featuring Kate Gosselin and her eight little children is confirmed. And this will only mean that the show will no longer have another episode to follow.
TLC just announced on Monday that they are cancelling the said reality series which started as “Jon & Kate Plus 8”. Glancing at its television history, “Jon & Kate Plus 8” was changed into “Kate Plus 8” after Kate Gosselin and her husband Jon Gosselin had a hard time dealing with their relationship as a couple and eventually went for a divorce.
Meanwhile, reports tell that it will be on September 12 that Kate Gosselin’s long-running reality TV show will be having its final airing.
Sources say that Kate Plus 8 series had been silently cancelled because of the reason that Kate Gosselin’s former husband known to be Jon Gosselin chose not to renew the contract which will permit their kids to continue having another TV appearances.
Despite the sad fact that it will not be having its renewal for its 9th season, Kate says that she is not having any regrets.
Fans were a bit sorry for the kids but a statement from TLC can somewhat give a hope for Kate’s large brood after telling the media that they will still be inviting them as special guests for some other forthcoming shows. This signifies that the cancellation does mean that it will also be the end of Kate’s reality star career.
