A big impact to the cinemas has been made by the 20TH Century Fox Movie, Rise of the Planets of the Apes as it opening gross for domestic box office has reached to $54 million.
A lot of viewers had drawn their attention to the new movie due to its realistic effects particularly the Apes characters. Behind this amazing creation is Peter Jackson who uses the advance performance technology to generate such eye catching result.
The main character in the story named ape Caesar is being played by actor Andy Serkis and the movie is directed by Rupert Wyatt. Also included in the all star cast are James Franco, John Lithgow and Frida Pinto.
Such support and positive reviews coming from the viewers has only proven the success of the movie. All ages are allowed to watch the said movie for it has given by the cinema evaluator a rating of A. Surprisingly basing on the latest survey taken most of the viewers who watched the movie are women.

On the other hand, movies who made its debut last weekend together with the Rise of the Planet of the Apes did not earn as much as expected. The comedy movie, The Change Up starring Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman came to number 4 spot with an opening gross of $13.5 million.
