The Philippine Azkals were confident that they can take the upset win against the Azkals. The Azkals line-up were composed of the following players Neil Etheridge. Aly Borromeo, Anton Del Rosario, Rob Gier, Ray Jonsson, James Younghusband, Stephan Schrock Manuel Ott,  Chieffy Caligdong, Angel Guirado and Phil Younghusband.
