Zuckerberg is the man behind the leading social networking site Facebook whose current members is already reaching 700 million worldwide.
The 100 Most Influential People in UK Media was being selected and compiled through the combined efforts of technology experts, PR and media themselves.
Big names in the list includes those of the names from the world’s tech giants like Jack Dorsey of Twitter, Steve Jobs from Apple, Julian (–foul word(s) removed–)ange of Wikileaks and Daniel Ek from Spotify.
The inclusion of their names only signifies how technology had played such vital roles in the lives of the people.
Zuckerberg topping on the said list also tells that Facebook reigns in the field of social networking despite the existence of competitors. As Facebook continues to take the leadership in social networking, people behind it especially Zuckerberg is also earning unstoppable popularity.
To recall, last year’s No. 1 in the list was Apple’s Steve Jobs who had taken the 5th place for this year.
Zuckerberg and the entire Facebook group had gone a long way. In fact, Zuckerberg had already been the cover of Time Magazine and a movie entitled “A Social Network” was also created.
