Despite of their lost in the first leg of the game against Kuwait, the Azkals thank their Filipino fans who came and supported them in their match.
Large crowd of Filipino fans was seen during the match of Azkals vs. Kuwait, some showed their support to the Filipino pride by wearing the shirt of Azkals and waving the flag of the Philippines.
Head coach of the team, Michael Weiss is really grateful with the support that Filipino fans has showed to the Azkals, he said that the fans are still happy even if they loss in the first leg and added that he hopes that the rest of Azkals fans back in the Philippines are feeling the same for them.
On the other hand, members of team Azkals are still in hope that they can win this match against Kuwait and continue to fight in the 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
In the official twitter account of the Azkals heartthrob member Phil Younghusband, he expressed his deepest thanks to all the fans and added that the game is not yet over.
The same with Anton del Rosario, he tweeted that he is sorry for the result of the game and that they will make up in the second leg of their match.
Second match of Azkals vs. Kuwait will be held in the Philippines at Rizal Stadium on July 28, 2011.
