With great honor and privilege, Philippine Foreign Secretary Albert del Rosario has given a statement last Sunday welcoming the support expressed by the US Congress to the country.

The debate between China and the Philippines in regards to whose territory belong the islands found in South China Sea which is believed to be rich in gas started when China makes an aggressive action by deploying several patrol ship in the disputed territory which has alarmed the Philippines and other neighboring countries including Vietnam, Brunei, Malaysia and Taiwan.

The Philippines and the United States has always been good allies for how many years and so this kind of support coming from the US is not surprising knowing that America has once colonized the Philippines and this has made the relationship of the two country’s intact ever since.
