Skype is finally on Facebook

facebook and skype togetherFinally, Facebook and Skype joined together!

This was the biggest news broke during the press conference held in California which was attended by Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Skype’s Tony Bates.

Competition makes the market place very exciting since producers and manufacturers will give their best to win in the heart of the costumers. And this is now happening in the cyber world.

Recently, Google launched its very own version of a social networking site the Google+ which they foresee to compete the much established and popular Facebook whose  members in the recent statistics had already climb up to 750 million plus globally. Despite the approximate number of active users was not yet determined, from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, he had said that the success of the site do not depend on the number of active members only but it can be seen on the number of pictures and videos uploaded and shared to the site as well as to the number of web links being spread from a user to another.

After Microsoft had announced that they are to close a deal in purchasing Skype , another big news was break, when finally Skype and Facebook announced the merging, particularly the act of putting Skype as the newest feature offered aside from chat and the games. This live one-to-one video conferencing is another plus for Facebook.

This tie up of between Facebook and Skype is indeed not the first time as they revealed that they had been sharing some instant messaging tools way back then.

Google+ as reported has four major features being market and one of them is the “Hangout”. If to compare, Facebook’s Skype as mentioned earlier is a one-to-one conferencing while Google+’s Hangout can get a maximum of 10 people to video chat together.

Both Facebook and Skype said that future plans will be realized for the innovation.

Google+ and Facebook as social networking sites will surely make a good show and any development with their offered products will definitely benefit the users that they had. In the business of internet world, the longer the user stays in the site, the happier the advertisers!

Skype made clear that even if their feature will be added to Facebook, it doesn’t mean that their deal with Microsoft is over.
