Star player of Philippine Team Azkals, Phil Younghusband said that he consider actress Angel Locsin as his lucky charm during their game against Sri Lanka last Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Rizal Memorial Stadium.
The Azkals manage to won their second round match against Sri Lanka Brave reds with a score of 4-0 while the first leg of the game which was held in Sri Lanka end up with a draw 1-1.
Angel was present during the game of the Azkals last Sunday and was seen cheering for Phil Younghusband and the rest of the team. She was seen to arrive in the venue with celebrity Bubbles Paraiso.
In an interview with Phil, he said that he was inspired during the game because Angel came to support him. The football player is also thankful for the support given to her by Angel and hopes that maybe in the next game of Azkals Angel can watch again.
The team Azkals will be flying soon to Kuwait for their next match in 2014 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
When he was asked whether Angel Locsin will watch their next game against Kuwait, Phil said that he is not sure about it knowing that Angel has a lot of commitment but he wish that angel will have a time to watch him again in the field.
The two were seen together in the victory party of Azkals and they were spotted very sweet together. They were also caught in the video that Phil Younghusband kissed Angel Locsin in the check.
