Family Radio’s Harold Camping called by some as the Rapture Guy was rushed to Alameda hospital after experiencing a mild stroke on Thursday night.
Well, it seems that some things are not running so well as he gets so unlucky after his failed rapture announcement on his 52 years of managing his own radio show.
While he is still under recovery, the staff of Family Radio told their avid listeners that they will still be airing some of the programs that were known to be pre-recorded by Camping himself.
According to his wife, the stroke has hit the right side of his body affecting his speech delivery.
It was only last month that Camping’s prediction regarding the Judgment Day seemed to be a hot topic over the internet.
Camping, 89, is a preacher who marked that May 21, 2011 will be the end of the world. Many believers waited that day for the prediction to be fulfilled but such prophecy eventually failed.
What was said to be the Judgment Day did not arrive. Soon before everything turned out to be an error, the 89-year-old preacher still stood to proclaim that the Judgment Day is really going to happen.
But after Camping was noted to be with his miscalculations, he still insists that the world is on its near end while moving the date of his forecast into October 21, 2011.
It was in 1994 that Harold Camping had first declared his predictions regarding the end of the world but later on proved it to be so incorrect.
In this regard, his followers were asked to offer some prayers which will greatly help Harold Camping recover from his current physical battle.
