JC Tiuseco, one of GMA Networks prized star will we wearing a short shorts in an upcoming afternoon presentation titled Sisid by the Kapuso Network. He will be back on a different role this time as a leading man for his fourth soap since he started with Jackie Rice, Dominic Roco and Ian Batherson.
John Carlo “JC” Barreras Tiuseco was the first Survivor Philippines winner, a former model and a basketball star playing for San Sebastian College. He was born on April 16, 1985 in Manila, with a Filipino-Chinese descent. His proud parents Mr. and Mrs. James and Rosemarie Tiuseco had given all-out-support in his career.
In preparation for his role as a leading man for “Sisid”, JC had undergone diving and swimming lessons and at the same time preparing his body for the rigorous shooting under the sun. He goes regularly to the gym for work outs. In an interview with pep.ph about his lean muscles whether he planned for it he was quoted as saying “Yup, I actually wanted to gain more lean m(–foul word(s) removed–) in preparation for Sisid din, for the role, and it feels great when you see results” said the young actor.
With regards to the wearing of short shorts which had been a hot topic among female fans, he stated that it is needed in his role as pearl diver and nothing personal. He was just doing what the character should be doing. He also believed that with the pointers that he got from the director Ricky Davao he will be able to perform more dramatically this time.
JC will portray the role of Ahmed, a local pearl diver from an island. Sisid will also showcase the first starring role for Jackie Rice who will play the character of Eden. Dominic Roco, the son of Bembol Roco will play the character of Siegfred.
“Sisid” will premiere on May 30 as part of GMA 7’s “Heavyweights of May” Campaign. The soap was directed by Ricky Davao.
