Haley Reinhart, the 20-year-old blues girl from Illinois was eliminated from American Idol Season 10 top three finalist. Haley was voted out of competition which will showcase the final duel between two teen-age mostly country music American Idol Season 10 finale.

Fox announced last Wednesday night that American Idol Season 10 got a record-setting 95 million votes. The third-highest vote total in American Idol history and the biggest vote by a non-final American Idol show.

After the announcement that Haley was not part of the final two contestants, she was so disappointed and was quoted as saying “This is the biggest platform anybody can ask for.”  She further adds that “I rocked it out , and I had a blast, and this is only the beginning,” Haley said and move on to sing her send-off performance, “Bennie and Jets” by Elton John.

Haley Reinhart was unable to impressed the voting public for her previous performance of Led Zeppelin’s “What Is and What Should Never Be” featuring her loving father playing the guitar alongside her on stage.

Steven Tyler, the rockstar judge from Aerosmith was the only one who was a bit disappointed with the result for Haley was one of his favorite but nevertheless was so glad to see that one of his bet moved on to the final round of American Idol Season 10. During the audition of this season’s Idol he dubbed  Lauren Alaina as “the one” to win the crown.

Next week Fox Television will showcase the youngest ever finale in American Idol history featuring Lauren Alaina, the pop-country diva facing off country singer and crooner Scotty McCreery.

The two finalist were devout Christian, Scotty hails from North Carolina. He was a former grocery store clerk. Meanwhile Alaina came from Georgia who had dreamed since the age of six that someday she will be performing on American Idol and her dream had finally came through.

The “American Idol Season 10” two-part finale airs on Fox next Tuesday and Wednesday. Whoever will take the crown, it’s up for the American Idol voting public to decide.
