Manny Pacquiao knocked down Shane Mosley at around 1:56 of Round 3. It came from a good right and left combination from Manny that landed just right into the face of Mosley. During the interview Manny told the press that after he knocked down Mosley he had a cramps on his legs.
The entire 12 rounds was dominated by Manny Pacquiao who keeps on chasing Sugar Mosley. Mosley on the other did not challenged Pacquiao. After his knockdown in the third round, his strategy was put unto defensive stance.
The explosive right of Mosley was nowhere to found. He just used it as a shield against the rampaging attacked by the Filipino boxer.
One of the disappointing things during the bout was the decision of veteran Referee Kenny Bayles who had scored a knock down against Manny Pacquiao in the 10th round. It was a clear slipped because Mosley stepped on Pacquiao’s feet but the referee counted it as a knock down.
Despite the disappointments from the fans, Manny Pacquiao still managed to win the contest via unanimous decision. All three judges scored in favor for Manny Pacquiao.
The final score of the game was: Judge Glenn Trowbridge scored 119-108, Dave Moretti had it 120-108 and Duane Ford scored it 120-107.
