Jason Momoa as Conan the Barbarian
Jason Momoa as Conan the Barbarian

Jason Momoa takes over the role of Arnold Schwarzenegger in a new “Conan the Barbarian” movie that was first produced in 1982. The movie still based its story from the book of Robert E. Howard that featured a barbarian.

The father of Conan was murdered by a warlord including his tribe. Conan is now responsible for his people and he strives to venture in an unforgiving world where he survives as pirate, thieves, and a warrior.

Conan is a fictional hero and an iconic figure in American fantasy and the famous barbarian. Conan the barbarian is also licensed not only as a film but also as books, television programs, video games and comics.

The comic was first published by Marvel Comics who also printed the famous “Spider-man” among other popular comic book.

The movie is expected to be released on August 19, 2011. For more info about the release date on other country please follow this link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0816462/releaseinfo.

The release date is in good timing after the “Thor” movie.

Critics on this movie are now asking question whether Jason Momoa can be a better Conan compares to Arnold Schwarzenegger. Jason Momoa currently stars on “Thrones” as Khal Drogo and so far not bad as you may think.
