Ellie Goulding admits that performing at the reception of the royal wedding of what we have now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had been unforgettable.

Goulding was requested to sing at Buckingham Palace for the royal couple’s post-wedding party on Friday. The hit-maker for “Starry Eyed” serenaded the 300 guests through a variety of her hits.

Ellie sang “Your Song” by Sir Elton John which became the first dance of the royal couple. With that, the singer was pleased as she becomes a part of such significant event.

“It was an amazing honour to be asked by Kate and William to perform at their party. The atmosphere was incredible and it is a night I’ll never forget!” Ellie says.

The party continued until 2 a.m. despite the fact that some of the royal family members such as Queen Elizabeth, William’s father Prince Charles along with his wife Camilla left before midnight.

The best man Prince Harry had thrown an afterparty. He has promised one final song to be played before the guests finally left. Various reports said that the last song that was played was the one entitled “Sex on Fire” by King’s of Leon’s.

While Prince Harry introduced the final song, he announced that it was a “great night” as he pleaded the guests with a statement saying “please respect the family and those upstairs when you leave. And don’t wake up the neighbours.”

During the afterparty by Prince Harry, the visitors were served potent Crack Baby cocktails that contained vodka, raspberry liqueur and champagne and p(–foul word(s) removed–)ion fruit. Snacks like popcorn and Haribo sweets were also given.

At the earlier reception of the royal wedding, the guests were observed to be more formal as they have been accommodated to seats named after the cities and towns that are near the hearts of the royal couple.

The guests were served with a three-course meal cooked by Chef Anton Mossiman, the favorite chef of Prince Charles.

Chef Mossiman prepared crab layered with fresh langoustine, next is the herb-stuffed lamb and then followed by desserts such as chocolate mousse, sherry trifle and honeycomb ice cream.
