Casey Abrams have garnered the lowest number of votes according to the announcement made by American Idol host Ryan Seacrest last thursday night. He was the one who was saved by the American Idol judges earlier in the finals of this year’s American Idol.
Casey Abrams had gone a long way and made it to the top 6 edging out favorite idols Pia Toscano and Stefano Langone. The jazz and blues singer was finally sent home by the voting public. The native from California was put on the bottom three after his performance of an unfamiliar song Hi De Ho.
The 20-year-old jazz singer was unable to impress the viewing public for his rendition of American singer and songwriter Carole King.
During the announcement of results the first who received the good news of being safe was Haley Reinhart followed by James Durbin. The remaining four was then called afterwards unto the stage and Ryan gave Lauren a signal to stay for another week.

The remaining three boys were left on stage Casey, Scotty and Jacob. Jacob have been saved and Ryan announced that between the two remaining boys on stage, Casey will be the one to go home. He was not so shocked with the announcement because Ryan gave him an acknowledgement of the kind of music he was performing.

Casey on his final exit sung the song I Put A Spell On You which he was personally dedicated to his rumoured love interest finalist Haley Reinhart. He pulled Haley on stage and sung directly at her.
With the exit of Casey Abrams, 5 more finalists were vying for the ultimate idol. They were Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Jacob Lusk, Haley Reinhart and Scotty McCreery.
