Colleagues and Friends of AJ Perez paid their final respects to the late actor at his requiem in Quezon City ‘Christ the King Parish Church, a day before he was laid to rest at the Manila Memorial Park in Paranaque City.
AJ’s high schoolteachers and batchmates at La Salle Greenhills where AJ finished his high school education have delivered their eulogies to the late young actor.
The non-showbiz girlfriend of the actor Steph Ayson also delivered a heartbreaking eulogy.
In her acclamation she has mentioned all ambitions she would become someday, but she said that all of those changed except one.
“I knew I want to marry a guy. And his name was AJ Perez.” Steph said.
She has narrated how she cross the way with AJ through a common friend and how she acted during their first meeting when, in fact, her “emotions were screaming.”
Steph admitted that she would be the biggest fan of AJ.
“I would sit in front of the TV and watch ASAP and I would wake up every Saturday just to watch “About Your Love,” she said.
Steph met AJ on September of 2007. On February 14, AJ asked Steph to be his girlfriend.
“Cheesy, sweet, sincere that’s AJ. He said that even if I did not say ‘I love you’ back away or show him sweetness just like he did, his exact words were, ‘I would wait a lifetime,'” Steph narrated.
“Even to his last days he told me, ‘I want you always to be happy. I want you to smile a lot, I don’t want you sad. You know why? Because I love you. That’s the way he lived. He was happy,” she said.
As she ended her eulogy she said, “To my baby, you’ll always be in my heart,” she said.
“Thank you for making my dreams comes true. I’ll take care of your family for you. And I’ll love the way you loved me” added Steph.
