Teen star Demi Lovato is troubled about her present conditions three months after leaving a residential treatment center. Recently, she openly talked about her struggles with anorexia, bulimia and cutting. And now, her latest revelation is that she has a bipolar disorder as well.
The People magazine reveals a statement from Demi Lovato saying, “”I never found out until I went into treatment that I was bipolar.” It was last month when Lovato opened it up to PEOPLE at a candid interview in her home in Los Angeles.
The former 18-year-old Disney icon previously went into a three-month treatment after she had nervous breakdown in 2010 where she strived to fight against her emotional struggles.
She previously gave up her “Sonny With a Chance” show.
Lovato also said that she had been facing depression at young age. According to the young actress, there were instances that she was able to write 7 songs in just one night while staying awake even until 5:30am.
This brave revelation explains why Lovato extended her support through a Tweet when Catherine Zeta-Jones publicized that she has Bipolar II disorder.
The young singer tweeted Thursday saying “I don’t know Catherine Zeta-Jones personally but what she has decided to do it SO brave and SO difficult but worth it… I’m proud of her.”
At present, Demi Lovato is taking a fearless step towards discussing topics about how she manages to face her life’s difficult times.
