Valenzuela City Councilor Shalani Soledad Hopes TV5 Host Willie Revillame to Return to the Show and Continue Helping the Filipino

TV5 co-host of ‘Willing Willie’ Shalani Soledad city councilor of Valenzuela expressed her support to Willie Revillame for his controversial issue of the alleged child abuse.

Willie Revillame has drawn criticism from Loretta Ann Rosales, chief Commission on Human Rights, Dinky Soliman Secretary of Social Welfare, fellow performers and citizens due to alleged abuse incidents during the episode in the show of ‘Willing Willie’ that involved a 6-year-old boy, ‘Jan-Jan’ who have performed a macho dancing in exchange for P10,000.

Soledad said during the interview that she supported Revillame all the way, and hoping that the latter will continue to help Filipinos by the show.

Revillame formally announced last Friday after a major advertisers pulled out from “Willing Willie” that he would take a 2-week break and to think about whether to return to the show.

The TV5 host vehemently denied of abusing the 6-year-old boy saying that he was helping the boy and his family by giving them what they need.

Soledad appealed also to the MTRCB to fully investigate the incident before making a judgment on whether to impose sanctions against the Revillame.

Her wish for her upcoming birthday on April 27 will be for Willing Willie to return on air.

She will be focusing more time on the needs of her constituents in Valenzuela City, now that ‘Willing Willie’ will be taking a break, said the former girlfriend of President Aquino.

Currently the MTRCB is investigating the incident the alleged child abuse.
