Pia Toscano, the 22-year-old finalist and American Idols favorite especially by the judges was eliminated from American Idol. Her popularity among the judges could do nothing against the power of millions of Americans who have voted against her.
Judge Jennifer Lopez was shocked when she heard the announcement made by Ryan Seacrest that her favorite Idol was voted out of the competition. Lopez was angry that the viewers failed to keep Toscano moving ahead to the next round although she had a powerful performance last Wednesday of the song by Tina Turner’s River Deep-Mountain High.
