
A 7.4 magnitude aftershock have rattled Japan last Thursday night, the quake struck at around 11:32 PM local time. The recorded aftershock was the strongest among aftershocks after the devastating 9.0 magnitude earthquake that flattened the northern part of Japan.
The epicenter of the shocks was 30 miles (50 kilometers) under the water off the coast of Miyagi prefecture. The tremors have been felt as far as Tokyo that shook the buildings for about a minute.
Subsequent tsunami warnings have been issued by authorities after the reported earthquake for the high probability of another devastation in Japan.
After the 7.4 earthquake utilities were shut down, powers have been patch, buildings shook, furnitures were broken down because of the tremors. The city went dark and all the people were frightened for another life threatening disaster.
There were no immediate fatalities reported and the tsunami warning have been lifted up. The earthquake was the biggest since the march 11 earthquake and tsunami damaged Japanese infrastracture severely.
One major concerns was the Fukushima power plants were people are working for the containment of radiation, another earthquake will certainly have a major impact not only to Japan but the whole world as a whole.
After final examination and reports, the US Geological Survey have downgraded the earthquke magnitude from 7.4-7.1.
