The ‘Dancing with the Stars’ judge Carrie Ann Inaba is now officially engaged to her boyfriend Jesse Solan. And yes, it can’t be a rumor this time because the 42-year-old dancer gets engaged on Live TV show!
On Thursday, March 31, while she was guest hosting the morning talk show ‘Live with Regis and Kelly’ her boyfriend Jesse Sloan shocked her by appearing on the stage and asking her to marry him. Surprised Carrie said ‘yes’ and accepted her engagement ring.
At the starting of the show Carrie corrected the rumors of her engagement telling that Jesse is a nice guy and he takes care of her but the news of their wedding is not correct. Later, Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal appeared in the show with a ring and told that he found it in Carrie Ann’s dressing room with a note, reads ‘Do not touch, engagement ring’. But it was just a prop.
Solan made his appearance on the stage at the very end of the show when someone asked “How to propose his girlfriend” in a letter as part of show’s Inbox segment. Hearing the question, Solan came from backstage, got down on one knees and proposed Inaba telling that she is beautiful, wonderful and an inspiration to him. Presenting her a two-and-a-half carat diamond ring Solan asked “will you marry me?” and she responded “Yes, I will marry you,… you tricked me!!”
Later, Ann Mangini of Santa Monica’s Rafinity Jewelers, from where Solan purchased the ring, reported that Jesse visited the shop a few months ago and he was totally clear about the ring style. He wanted a princess-cut diamond in a simple platinum mounting. According to Ann, they have placed both Solan and Carrie Ann’s birthstone inside the ring.
Hey ! Carrie Inaba, what a wonderful proposal !! all the best for future. Now you can dance with your ” star” fiance Jesse Solan.
